1. Our Commitment
Eyecosystems is committed to ensuring that our website and digital platform are accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We believe that accessibility is not a compliance checkbox — it is a fundamental aspect of building a product that works for everyone. As a company whose mission centers on accessibility data, we hold ourselves to a high standard on our own digital properties.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
This policy applies to the Eyecosystems public website (eyecosystems.com), our developer documentation portal, and our customer-facing data platform. We review and update this policy annually, or sooner when significant changes are made to our digital properties.
2. Conformance Status
The current conformance status of eyecosystems.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard, and we have active remediation work underway to address known gaps.
We conduct ongoing automated and manual accessibility evaluations. Our most recent audit was completed in March 2026 using both automated scanning tools and manual review with assistive technologies including NVDA, VoiceOver, and JAWS. The results of that audit are guiding our current remediation roadmap.
We are committed to moving from partially conformant to fully conformant status. New features and pages are evaluated for accessibility before publication, and legacy content is being updated in priority order based on usage frequency and impact on users with disabilities.
3. Technical Specifications
Our website relies on the following technologies to support accessibility. Conformance to WCAG 2.1 AA has been tested with these technologies:
We use semantic HTML elements to convey structure and meaning, WAI-ARIA roles and properties to supplement native semantics where needed, and progressive enhancement principles so that core content remains accessible even when scripting is unavailable or restricted.
All interactive components — including navigation dropdowns, forms, modals, and data tables — are designed to be fully operable by keyboard. Focus management follows established ARIA design patterns. Color contrast ratios for text and UI components meet or exceed the WCAG 2.1 AA minimums of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text and non-text UI elements.
4. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, we are aware of the following limitations that are currently under remediation:
- Data tables in the API documentation portal — Some complex data tables lack comprehensive row and column headers. We are restructuring these tables and adding proper
scopeandaria-labelledbyattributes. Target completion: Q2 2027. - PDF exports — Compliance report PDFs generated by the platform are not currently tagged for accessibility and may not be fully readable by screen reader users. We are implementing a tagged PDF pipeline. Target completion: Q3 2027.
- Interactive map components — The geographic visualization layer used on our data explorer page provides limited keyboard navigation for individual map features. We are evaluating alternative approaches and interim accessible equivalents. Target completion: Q3 2027.
- Third-party embedded content — Some third-party integrations (e.g., scheduling widgets, video embeds) may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We are working with our vendors to request accessibility improvements and are evaluating alternative solutions.
If you encounter a barrier not listed above, please let us know using the contact information in the Feedback section. We treat all accessibility reports as high-priority issues.
5. Feedback and Contact
